For 2024, on Monday nights, Mountainview Cycling Club will have a Learn to Ride program.

The learn to ride program (youth) is intended for riders aged 8-13 who already know how to ride their bikes in the general sense (e.g. can ride around their neighbourhood, know how to pedal, coast, brake, get on and off their bike comfortably), and who are looking to learn the skills of mountain biking on singletrack trails. Participants must have a mountain bike in good working order, and a properly fitting helmet.

The Mountainview Cycling Club Learn to Ride program is planned to run for 6 weeks. Any missed days due to weather will be made up at the end of the originally scheduled dates. The program will run from 5:45-6:45pm. Learn to ride participants must have at a minimum an OCA Community Membership (approximately $25).
