Hey Everyone,
This year is shaping up to be another great edition of the Mountainview 9 Hour Relay! Lots of new trails will treat you as we gear up to host the Ontario Cup, so come out to get the course dialed in, a great pre-ride opportunity as the course will be similar in both events! Hope to see you there!
Please note that due to our neverending winter, the start of the Mountainview Thursday Night race series will be delayed. As of today, there is still a solid 50cm of base on the hill. Hopefully things will melt quickly, but the trails will still need time to dry, and be cleaned as well.
The tentative start date is now May 1, but please stay tuned.

It has taken what seems like forever for the snow to melt this year, and as of now the trails still aren’t clear at Mountainview – however, the first race is coming soon! 2013 information for the Mountainview Thursday Night Race Series as well as the Mountainview 9 Hour Relay are now posted.
The 9 Hour is now part of a 2-event series, in conjuntion with the HBCC Six Shooter six hour relay. 2 great venues with 2 great events, with the same philosophy about having awesome singletrack, and lots of fun!
The first Thursday night race will be on April 25th, so get those tires pumped up and chains lubed, its just about time to rip!

so, it was a great weekend at the 9 hour – great weather, great competition, fun times! Results are posted, see the linky above!
Two weeks left at the Thursday night series, and a few things to note:
– The next 2 weeks are short track races, the format is a bit different, and its a lot of fun, come check it out!
– this Thursday, come to A&W after the race and grab a burger, its their annual MS fundraiser, would be cool to invade with a bunch of us!
– Next Thursday is the finale, so come out, and bring your family and friends for the post-race BBQ, awards, and check out some pics taken during the season!
– Next Thursday will also be vintage/beater/fun bike night. Bring out something different to ride on for some extra bonus points, and earn some cred with your awesome bikes!

If you haven’t been out yet, its getting warmer and nicer every day – time to get the dust off of your rig!
Hi Everyone,
3 bikes have been stolen this week, all from garages. Brett and Colby Matthews had a Red/Carbon Opus hardtail with crossmax wheels, fox fork and Sram XX components, along with a Norco 125 dirt jumper stolen. In addition, CTS member Erica Vleer had a purple Kona Lisa HT with CTS sticker on it stolen. If you see any of these bikes, please report to the police, or to me @ mountaingoat17 at hotmail.com and we’ll try to get the bikes back to their rightful owners.
Everyone else…keep your bikes inside, lock them up, guard them carefully!
A mistake was noted on the Thursday Night Series page. The finale is Sept 2nd, not August 26th as suggested. Hope you can make it to the race!
